As I poured my cup of coffee, I looked out the window to see the sunrise. The magic of spring is happening. I’m barely able to contain my desires for warmer weather.
Damn, there’s still snow on the ground and hmm, the windows need cleaning, too. But, the windows can wait. I’ll add them to the “Spring-to-do-List.” It’s getting long.
With another sip of coffee, I’m feeling determined instead of defeated. I’m excited by my abundant anticipation for spring.
Here’s proof of the prolific dispensing of 13″ of snow we had and how it looks today. My flower beds are starting to peek through once again. The perennials are excited to start sprouting for real this time. I can’t wait to plant flowers and see varieties of colors versus vast amounts of white.
I’m ready to say farewell to ice pellets, mini-snowball showers, and white fluffy stuff.
I’m anxious to take the seat on the left, put my feet up and relax. I’ll enjoy the abundant greens of spring and soak up serious doses of Vitamin D.
Goodbye, snow. The genie of Spring is winning this battle. FINALLY!
