Quite moments in the backyard – Fall in Wisconsin

Hey, it’s me Copper.  No matter how crazy the day is for me, a walk together with Shelley in our back yard is this dog’s best way to chill. All the worries of my day simply melt away. Fall in Wisconsin is so beautiful. I love smelling the fresh air and listening to the trees and corn rustle in the wind.  There are leaves to chase and dandelions to smell.

Being a guy with limited food choices, I’m extra excited for opportunities to find nature made goodies. The bunnies typically come through for me on a regular basis.  If I search long enough, my nose always finds where they have left behind little nuggets.  It is fun to have snacks while wandering the yard.  I guess that’s probably not for everyone, but heck, it is a speedy way to get me some fresh fiber.  Don’t get me wrong, I do like the store bought Greenies.  They are pretty tasty.  But scoring the fresh bunny version is a party in my mouth!

I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers. – L.M. Montgomery
