Paper Pushing Conundrum

Should I write a fun blog post this morning?

Or should I organize my papers and pay my bills?

Why is it such a CONundrum?

Why don’t papers and bills disappear on their own?

And, your assumption is correct…today’s verdict is…the bill collectors won…

Tomorrow…dearest fans and readers, I’ll be the boss of my morning!

  1. Nice job of getting two prompts with the same set of words, Shelly. Thanks for the mention and thnaks for keeping the average higher than one line.

    1. Thank you, Dan! You’re welcome, I appreciate the encouragement and flexibility in the word counts for one-liners! 😉

  2. It’s never as much fun to pay bills, but it has to be done so that you have electricity to power your computer to write your posts. Right?

  3. Good morning Shelley! I love the word conundrum! It’s such a fun word to say, isn’t it? I toast my tea to you this lovely morning, in assumption that you shall have a great day, regardless if you are pushing papers or not! (my take on that would be, look out the window…is it sunny? Do the outdoors beckon you? Then go outside instead, because the inside mess isn’t going anywhere!)

    1. Thank you! Yes, it’s a fun word, so many options to wordplay with it! Great advice…the outdoors are calling me!!

  4. I refuse to look at my piles of papers. I can’t take it! Gives me a headache. And, in about a month’ time the kids are coming home with every piece of paper they worked on in school and will dump this on me. Look mom what I did! they will say. And I will set a moment aside to admire their work and then get the outdoor fireplace ready because no one will every want to look at this stuff again, and if they do, they can take a picture of it and save it online.

    🙂

    1. LOL – You’re on to something. Just to reassure you, when my kids were young, I couldn’t part with all their papers, so I saved my favorites in a bin and gave it to the bin to them after they graduated from college. They giggled, reminisced, shot holes at them with rocks, and burned them in a bonfire. Guess they didn’t want them after all! I think they did take a picture or two first, but that’s it. Go ahead and burn baby burn! 😉

    1. Thank you, Cee! Yes, cats love boxes, it is cheap fun for all! xx Thanks for the opportunity to play along!

  5. Here’s to being the Boss of your own morning … except if I over sleep or if it’s a wonderfully cloudy morning where the porch swing beacons … or the cat wants to cuddle … yeah here’s to being the Boss of your own morning … coming soon when life doesn’t get in the way … Wonderful post Ms Shelley. g

    1. Thank you, G! Those options sound way more enjoyable than bill paying! But now that I have that out of the way for a day, I think watching the sunrise over a cup of coffee sounds splendid! Say Hi to Kat for me!

      1. Oh Ms Shelley … coffee at sunrise with the sun shining through the trees and a cuddle bunny wanting attention. I think a grander morning couldn’t be found. It is nearly criminal that we (you, I, everyone else) don’t participate more often … g

        1. So very true, G! Very true, indeed. Glad to hear you and Kat share those special morning moments together! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
