A pup’s wild spring adventure

It’s hard to contain the excitement I feel with the arrival of spring.  I can once again wander outside in the yard, all wild and free-like.  I love to observe the revival of the yard as the winds of spring and clouds in the sky tide to and fro.

You can observe a lot by watching. – Yogi Berra

Speaking of the yard – oh, my goodness, my winter’s limited poop zone needs attention to revive it.  It appears the human’s deck needs reviving as well.  I hear complaints from the humans who are disappointed in the product’s promises.  I agree it failed miserably.

Back to me, though…so yeah, I haven’t let my bum leg get in the way – No way, no how.

Ah, yes, the air, it is full of scents that draw me from spot to spot, or as we say here, from tree to tree.  And, the camera comes along with us every step of the way.  She stops, too, to observe close up the buds on the trees.

I’m in doggy heaven as I follow her run from thing to thing as she captures photos of tidbits she finds intriguing around the yard.

Sometimes she catches me in serious action mode.

I cut her some slack when she does.  Her yard photography is a bit rusty with the long winter we had, so a poop photo isn’t that unusual?

When she catches me off guard it makes the photos of me fuzzy – not my best look.

But, that’s okay, I like it when she gets down low to see things from my view.

I pose for her when I know she’s working hard to get a better shot of me.

I’ve taken a lichen spring.

My heart isn’t the only one that’s been bleeding for adventure.

  1. The Wild Ride appeals to me, but I’m starting to get confused on who is writing your blog, maybe it’s the Sauvignon Blanc? And, some of my comments are still disappearing? Recently I had a message saying “this form is not secure”, maybe Trump has hacked you? In the garden, 18 degrees centigrade, 68 degrees in old money!

    1. LOL – maybe it wasn’t enough wine for either one of us? I have no clue about the comment problem – for that I blame WordPress! PS – I had to substitute Chardonnay for Sauvignon Blanc, hope you were able to enjoy a glass of SB for me!

      1. Actually visited a vineyard and tasted some Seyval Blanc which I will blog about next week. The winery was the worst I have ever visited!

        1. Oh, my, that’s too bad about the worst winery. I’m intrigued to hear more. Hope you find tasty wine today to enjoy! Or it is Cinco de Mayo…maybe a margarita would be fun to try? – Cheers to you!

          1. I may switch to some quite expensive Burgundy, my daughter is away on business in Delhi and really starting to annoy me with fabulous photos of food!!!!😤😤😤
