In our dog’s small world, fences and gates keep him safe. He loves to lounge or strut about sniffing the air full of scents from far away lands.
He’s not alone in the yard, the fence serves as a nice landing spot for birds and lichen to grow.
The early morning fog rolls softly around it as he ventures out to do his business.
Best yet is an open gate and escape to the outer world – my little guy smiles proudly in all his majesty.
Soon though…the snow will arrive, the gate will stay closed and he’ll be glad to be all warm and cozy inside.
